Saar, tributary of the Moselle at river kilometre 201 near Konz
The Saar is 235 kilometres long, the longest and most water-rich tributary of the Moselle.
The Weiße Saar (Sarre blanche) is the 27 km long, left and southern headwaters of the Saar and is considered its headwaters. In the Alsatian Vosges, it rises in the Donon, at an altitude of about 710 metres.
At Hermelange, south of Sarrebourg, it joins the Red Saar at an altitude of about 262 m and is then called the Saar. (Source: Wikipedia)
