Museum opened in 2003, displaying finds from the Stone Age, Iron Age and Gallo-Roman settlement of the region. The Niederviller room displays ceramic and hard porcelain from the manufactory in nearby Niderviller, where the finest utilitarian and decorative objects were made from 1748 onwards. The Chagall works on display are part of the “Parcour Chagall”.
