What does the Moselle mean to you?
Home. I moved to the Moselle for love and fell also in love with the landscape.

Did a particular wine awaken your love of wine?
The wine produced by my father-in-law at the time.

Do you currently have a favourite wine?
A tangy Riesling from the Moselle.

Where did your favourite trip take you?
To Rovaniemi, Finland – a winter trip with husky and reindeer sleigh rides through lonely forests.

What do you love about your work as an honorary mayor?
The dialogue and proximity to citizens

What do you dream of?
World peace.

What do you particularly like to eat?
Food from grandma’s kitchen, i.e. regional dishes.

What do you particularly like to drink?
Riesling wine.

What do you particularly like to listen to?
The sounds of nature such as wind and rippling water, but also the voices of wildlife in absolute silence.

What do you particularly like to feel?
A fresh, cool breeze on my face.

What do you particularly like to see?
Blossoming landscapes (wine regions) and the mountains.

What do you particularly like to wear?
Men´s shirts, whether short or long, a men´s shirt is a must for me.
